‘Space To Heal’ is a materialisation of thought and Adama’s reconnection to her black identity. The importance is placed on the process of making where large scale yellow foam is manipulated through different braiding techniques to create sculptures that can stand alone or come together to create a dynamic installation. This work takes unique forms in different environments where it hopes to instigate important conversations for those who encounter it.
